Hey have you guys played the new update to Mysteries of the Ancients? I liked nine better than ten because for one thing it doesn't run as fast and they say there's a second level but when I played the first one it brought me to the end of the game. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.
This is still in Beta testing so if you have a question, find a bug, or need help, please email the game maker. This is how things get fixed for a full release.

I've never even heard of this game. Thanks for bringing it up.
There is actually a second level. You get two bosses to fight also, not to mention a new trap and a new puzzle. Unfortunately, though Thomas was hoping for a December full release I don't know if that's going to happen. He's talking about making some fairly major upgrades that would probably take a few more weeks or months. I don't know though.
i'm playing beater 10 and, i get stuck, there is the fire pits, then past them a locked door, then there is the lever, to get to the room with the stairs, but after that, i'm stuck. like room 15 or so, i get stuck.
Yeah I'm stuck their two
ok, made it to lvl 2, haven't played in ages, i actually uninstaled it, after realizing it was only a demo, and not having money to buy the full version, so. but, killing the three headed dog takes like everything i have, lol. and that urks a bit. but it's still fun
Well the full version isn't even available yet so you're not missing much. As for the three-headed dog, you can actually run past him to the door if you don't want to fight him. And anyway it's best not to fight him unless you're lucky enough to find the sword beforehand. The sword causes the most damage to everything including bosses. In fact Thomas is talking about making bosses invincible to everything but the sword, which would of course mean that he'd have to set things up so that the sword would always show up on level 1.
hmm, should of tried that. and, ouch to just having the sword. lol.
It would make sense. Mythical creatures generally could only be harmed by certain weapons, usually enchanted ones. Or you needed something else in addition to an ordinary weapon. The Hydra, for instance, which Thomas has talked about featuring as a boss in MOTA, could only be killed if you found a way to prevent the heads from regrowing after you removed them. The two versions of that story that I've heard had two different methods of dealing with her. In one, Hercules called his charriot driver to bring a burning torch, which he used to seal the severed necks after Hercules knocked off each head. In another, Hercules heated the blade of his sword so that it would do the same job as it severed a head.
